We love cookies! It’s a childhood thing, the after-school milk-and-cookies treat that, as an adult of longstanding, should have ended years ago. But didn’t.

And won’t.

Classic Cookies

Butter + Jam:  Streusel- and jam-topped butter cookie. Perfect for breakfast, no?!

Orange Coconut Drop: A pretty little mound of orange butter cookie coated in wisps of coconut.

Chocolate Espresso Shortbread:  Double-amped traditional shortbread... yum!

Rosemary, Baby: A delicate, complex little nibble, citrus with rosemary and a little crunch of cornmeal.

Whoopie Pies:  Your choice of pumpkin with maple spice filling or(/and?!) chocolate with vanilla filling.

Classic Squares and Bars

Brownie Supreme:  A dense brownie base + bittersweet chocolate ganache = edible sin.

Lemon Square: Gooey, rich, and wonderfully tart - pucker up!

Rosemary Apricot Square: Rosemary-scented dough combines beautifully with a not-so-sweet apricot filling.


Our Holiday Selection

 

Chocolate Gingerbread Chew: Intense ginger (both fresh and ground) melds beautifully with bittersweet chocolate chunks.

Egg Nog Sandwich: All the flavours you’d expect (yes, there’s rum!) in a cookie… well, in two cookies with a creamy filling.

Chocolate Mint Thumbprint: Minty, white chocolate filling in a crumbly dark chocolate cookie: bliss!

Florentine (okay, maybe it’s more candy than cookie, but it looks like one, so it counts): Chewy, tart, sweet, rich – everything in one little gem of a package.


This is a short list of what’s going on in our ovens. As Flourish is in its infancy and currently sells only at local markets and by email order, our menu is heavily cookie-centric.
